Bursaries offered through the Centre for Student Development
Bursary for Students with Disabilities (BSWD): The BSWD must be applied for through the Centre for Student Development. The BSWD is intended to provide assistance to students in meeting their disability related educational costs. These costs may include, but are not limited to, products or services such as Notetakers, tutors, special transportation, technical aids/equipment, special chairs and splints. Full-time students receiving OSAP may be eligible for up to $10,000 annually. Part-time students participating in the Ontario Special Bursary Program (OSBP) may be eligible for up to $2000 annually, and those receiving CSL may be eligible for up to $8000 annually.
This bursary is intended to assist students with their disability related educational needs. It is similar to the BSWD and requires qualification based upon financial need. There is a $5,000 annual limit, with a $20,000 lifetime maximum. Applications must be approved for consideration through the Centre for Student Development.
